In the Vineyards
Our first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon is exclusively sourced from a single stony, serpentine block of the Santa Ynez Vineyard, tucked into the easternmost reaches of the Happy Canyon AVA. This vineyard rests on a conservation easement that will protect the natural beauty and viticultural legacy of this region for generations to come.
In the Winery
We destemmed the fruit and fermented it naturally in open-top stainless tanks over the course of two-and-a-half weeks—with a focus on preserving freshness and gentle palate presence along the way. We then pressed the wine to old french barriques, where the wine rested until the following harvest.
